Barrister (Mrs.) Egbeziemi Lucy Adetunji (Nee Evbota) was born April 16, 1976 to the family of late Mr. Emmanuel Enaifoghe Evbota and Mrs. Beatrice Edebharia Evbota from Ozalla, Owan West Local Government Area and Uromi, Esan North East Local Government respectively both in Edo State.
She commenced her educational path at Mainland Preparatory Nursery and Primary School, Bank-Olemo in Surulere from where she proceedeed to Maryland Comprehensive School for her secondary education. After one year at Maryland Comprehensive she left to continue her education at the Federal Government Girls' College (FGGC) Benin. Upon the successful completion of her secondary education, she proceeded to the Edo State University (EDSU) now Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma to study Law, after which she proceeded to the Nigerian Law School, Abuja.
She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2000.
Lucy started her working career with the Law Firm of Deji Sasegbon and Partners where she did her Law office Attachment. She later took up employment with Ocean and Oil (OandO) in their Legal Unit. From there, she decided to leave the Legal Practice to take up employment with Real Oil Nigeria Limited and was instrumental in setting up the Sister Company - Catamarang Nigeria Limited.
In 2005, Lucy knew the time had come to leave 'The Spinster Club' when she met her hubby - Engr. Akintunde Adetunji. Their friendship was consummated in February 2006 with the commencement of marital rites.
After over six months of putting the Home front in order, she consulted with her husband on the possibility of going back to work, to which they both agreed. This resulted in her taking up employment with the Law Firm of Adepetun, Caxton-Martins, Segun & Agbor.
Lucy was in the process of completing the British Bar Examination before departing this world on November 3, 2006.
She is survived by her Husband, Mother, Brothers, Sister, Nephews, Nieces, In-laws and Friends.
